In January 2009, as part of the Tackling Racism Project, Five Youth Point completed an educational visit to Poland to research racism and its effects in Europe.
Prior to the trip, the group learned about the ideas and social history prevalent to the events that led to the creation of Hitler's Third Reich, its influences and the impact of racism in Nazi Europe during World War II.
During the trip we visited some of the historic locations where many of the now well-documented atrocities took place, including the Auschwitz Concentration Camp.
