YouthPoint has provided a detached youth service within the Speke L24 and Garston Under the Bridge L19 area for the past 12 years. Formally two separate projects Youthlink and Firstpoint we were initially funded from Single Regeneration Budget and subsequently amalgamated in 2000 due to a reduction in our funding.

We currently provide the only detached youth provision in the area and have worked with over 1500 young people during the past four years. As a small voluntary sector project we have survived on limited funding.

Our main purpose is to work with young people to promote and support their personal development, social education, health and wellbeing. We enable young people to have a voice and a positive place in their communities and society. Whilst our delivery is very much led by our young peoples needs and participation we endeavour at all times to maximise the Every Child Matters five outcomes for children.
