Generally, the aim of all our projects is to make contact with young people and positively influence their lives by engaging them in a programme of informal social education.
By making this engagement fun, exciting and challenging, we thereby:
- encourage young people to broaden their understanding of issues related to Equal Opportunities and how these affect themselves and others
- support young people in their own personal development and enabling them to develop relationships with others
- acknowledge young people's rights and providing opportunities for them to understand and exercise those rights
- encourage young people to be active participants in their communities
- enable young people to gain knowledge and increase their understanding of issues that effect the environment
- encourage and supporting young people to explore and access training and employment possibilities
- encourage young people to lead healthy lifestyles
